INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat your oven according to the store-bought crust's instructions. If you have a raw crust, you may need to prebake it for a few minutes before adding the toppings.

  2. Roll out the pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone, following the package instructions. If using a pre-baked crust, make sure it is evenly spread out.

  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.

  4. Place Briati Fresh Mozzarella Slices on top of the sauce, distributing them evenly across the pizza.

  5. Lay the thinly sliced tomatoes over the mozzarella slices.

  6. Tear or chop some fresh basil leaves and sprinkle them over the pizza.

  7. Drizzle a little extra-virgin olive oil over the top and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake according to the store-bought crust's instructions or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

  9. Once the pizza is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two.

  10. Slice the pizza into wedges, and it's ready to serve!

Margherita Pizza

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup pizza sauce (homemade or store-bought)

  • 1 lb Briati Fresh Mozzarella Slices

  • 2-3 ripe tomatoes, thinly sliced

  • Fresh basil leaves
